Mirinda-Picasso 
It’s funny how in the same historical period, events happen that condition us culturally, but we do not relate them to each other. We believe they are far away, or we simply do not believe them.

An example occurred in 1957. In this year the brand Mirinda was born (its meaning is wonderful, surprising or admirable). This same year Picasso creates 58 reinterpretations of the Meninas in 3 months.

Exportation as a way of growth was Picasso’s premise throughout his life, just like the Mirinda that created up to 10 flavors.

In this reinterpretation you see, I start from 1 of the 17 individual representations that Picasso made of the Infanta Margarita. I have created a new historical framework just as Picasso did with Velázquez’s work.
